Song versioning with auto-numbered filenames

When I create multiple variations of the same song with minor lyric or vibe changes, there is no way to tell them apart or find the original. I'd like version numbers automatically added to filenames (e.g. Song_v1, Song_v2) and the ability to generate more than 2 versions per creation. This would make it easy to compare iterations and always trace back to the source.
