I want to know if it's possible to preserve the original length of a song when extending or shortening it. This would allow me to make edits without losing the original version's length.
Hi Chantal! You won’t lose your original song if you extend or trim it.
If you've already downloaded a song, it stays safe on your device, and the original version remains saved in your Songer account (under "Songs"). The newly generated song will simply appear as an additional track in your list.
The extended song will have a tag "Extension," and the trimmed song will have a tag "Trimmed clip", so you will always be able to find it.
